On December 4th-10th 2017, Chris will be guiding a 7 day workshop in Iceland's North Coast. This workshop will be an immersive winter workshop focusing on chasing the northern lights alongside winter landscapes. With limited day light, this is the best time of year to photograph them. During our small window of daylight we will have the opportunity to shoot kayaking, surfing, skiing, and seek out the best landscapes we can. We will be traveling through the Westfjords of Iceland, where light pollution is non-existent, and the aurora borealis are best seen. We will also be covering workshop modules such as image editing, composition, social media, onsite critiques, and much more!

- Classroom Workshop Day: 9AM-6PM

- Modules covering: Composition, Post Processing, Business, Social Media, Techniques, Water Photography

- Evening Shoot: Northern Lights

DAY 3

- Landscape and activity photography in the Westfjords

- Evening Shoot: Northern Lights

DAY 4

- Morning edit session and photographic critique

- Afternoon activity shoot

DAY 5

- Morning activity shoot during best light

- Evening shoot: Northern Lights and landscapes

DAY 6

- Morning edit session: photo critique session & post processing review

- Evening shoot: northern lights and landscape

DAY 7

- Portfolio Reviews

- Morning Hike

- Pack and Depart

We will be visiting a ton of well-known and not so well-known spots along the way including but not limited to:

- Goðafoss Waterfall

- Ólafsfjörður

- Classic Icelandic A-Frame House

- Westfjord Hotsprings

- Hvítserkur

- Hverfjall

- All transportation within Iceland

- Bunk accommodation
